Responsible for MarCom IVCS, AN/STC-3, and AN/STC-3A engineering services and support required from surface combatant ship construction and modernization periods through ships' life cycle. Responsibilities include emergent distance and on-site debug support of complex communication system failures; technical guidance of ships' IC forces and Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) personnel; equipment installation reviews; software program updates; field change (SCD) development and installation; ILS material availability/ vendor/ obsolescence resolution; investigation, reporting and recommendations for correction of system design / HMI operational problems and system failures; procedure development; technical manual development/ updates; Fleet Advisory Message (FAM) creation; personnel training. Ship's construction and modernization support included Initial Light-Off (ILO), installation / functional issues resolution and IVCS On-Site Representative (OSR) technical support at multiple construction / modernization shipyards.


Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with IVCS, to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems
Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in USN IC Systems.


Technical Training in Electrical/Electronic and/or Information Systems.

Various lab functions.

Various onsite technical support.
