Brunswick Cellulose LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Integrity Coordinator to enhance the maintenance and operations at our Brunswick, Georgia facility. The Mechanical Integrity Coordinator will be responsible for administering the Mechanical Integrity to ensure that the facility complies with all company requirements and recommendations; regulatory requirements; and relevant codes, standards, guidelines and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) from industrial and professional organizations.


What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Assisting all plant staff in recognizing when equipment deficiencies occur and including controls to help ensure that equipment deficiencies do not lead to serious incidents
  • Assisting the mill in identifying and applying the correct Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP)
  • Ensuring that personnel assigned to inspect, test, and maintain process equipment are appropriately trained and have access to appropriate procedures for these activities
  • Maintaining fixed equipment inspection and repair documentation and other records to enable consistent performance of MI activities


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, guidelines, and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP)
  • Working knowledge of at least one American Petroleum Institute (API) inspection certification (API 510, API 570, or API 653) with the intent of obtaining at least one API certification

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Certified Authorized Inspector (NBIC)
  • Certified Inspector for pressure vessels under API 510, tank inspections under API 653, and piping inspections under API 570
  • API RP 580 certification for Risk-Based Inspection
  • Certified Welding Inspector or API 577 certification
  • Familiarity with Asset Health Databases (DMAPS)
  • Knowledge of damage mechanisms common to the pulp and paper industry
