Marketing Manager

Overview: The Marketing Manager develops and implements high growth marketing strategies and supporting campaigns with an emphasis on public relations, corporate events, and social media. You create high quality marketing assets for multiple product lines ensuring all materials are consistent with our company brand and understand competitive products, speaking to differentiators that spotlight our brand. Key Responsibility Areas:

Brand Purpose

  • Develops the public relations and corporate event strategy
  • Manages all aspects of our public relations program
  • Works with vendors to execute our public relations strategy
  • Creates corporate presentations for TIS events
  • Incorporates brand purpose, voice, and tone into public relations programs
  • Aligns brand purpose messaging with our core audience

Customer Lifecycle Experience

  • Provides marketing and digital support for website graphics and content
  • Plans and executes marketing plans for Moments that Matter in the customer lifecycle
  • Identifies trends and optimizes campaign performance based on the insights

Community Connection

  • Develops the social media content strategy
  • Manages all aspects of social media including copywriting, graphics, advertising, monitoring, and customer service inquiries
  • Coordinates and implements National Travel Agent Day activities
  • Implements social media campaigns to support industry engagement
  • Coordinates aspects of customer facing events, such as meetups, speaking engagements and conferences
  • Track and provide growth metrics for marketing efforts and outcomes

Content Marketing

  • Creates presentations for specialized products
  • Creates digital assets and graphic design content for products
  • Supports new product launches with website support testing, branding, and blog writing
  • Manages external teams responsible for website design and development, SEO/SEM, and visual assets


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or graphic design
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience with B2B software developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns; creating sales and partner enablement content/tools; planning customer events, conferences and speaking engagements; managing marketing campaigns and programs
  • Demonstrated experience using Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
  • Experience with WordPress, HTML/markup language, preferred
  • Experience with email marketing and, sales and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce/Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Connects with internal and external partners by exhibiting empathy, listening actively, presenting, and facilitating in an engaging manner
  • Excellent project and time management skills, able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An initiative-taker who is comfortable working in a challenging environment which is continuously evolving
